I have proudly been part of the British curry industry since 1995. What began as a job soon became a lifelong passion. Over the years, I have worked tirelessly to learn every aspect of the restaurant business, gaining valuable experience that has shaped both my career and my character.
Alongside my practical experience, I studied Business, which gave me a stronger understanding of entrepreneurship, management and how to build a sustainable business. I have always believed that success comes through hard work, honesty and a willingness to keep learning.
In 2016, I co-founded Thai & Pie with the vision of bringing something different to the industry by combining authentic Thai cuisine with the rich traditions of the British curry sector. As Co-Founder, I remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality, customer service and innovation.
I live in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, where I have always been actively involved with the local community. Throughout the years, I have had the privilege of supporting and contributing to many Bangladeshi community organisations. Community service has never been about recognition for me—it has always been about giving back, supporting others and helping build stronger relationships within our community.
I believe the British curry industry has been built through the dedication and sacrifice of generations before us. I have great respect for those pioneers whose hard work created opportunities for so many of us. I also believe it is our responsibility to continue strengthening the industry and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.
My journey has taught me that business is about more than profit—it is about people, trust and making a positive difference. Whether through my work in hospitality or my involvement in the community, I strive to lead with integrity, respect and a commitment to serving others.
